>> Our favorite chic French boutique Target is sticking with its French roots for another go round of Go International. The new designer, Sophie Albou of Paul and Joe, will debut her collection on August 1, and previews of the looks are already up. I love how my favorite look from each collection is a dress -- the plaid bubble dress from Luella, the colorblock dress from Tara Jarmon, and now the kimono dress from Paul and Joe. What can I say, I've been in a dress kind of mood lately.
>> I wonder if it bothers US Vogue and Harper's Bazaar that they dressed Gisele and Lindsay Lohan (respectively) in two of the same outfits (the YSL rose cape and the Dolce dress) for their July issues...
>> I love love loved the Balenciaga collection for fall, so in theory I should be happy to see that all the poofy minikirts, the riding hats, the chunky shoes are already everywhere in editorials. The unfortunate part about Balenciaga pushing the fashion editors to use complete looks is that I'm already getting sick of seeing their fall outfits everywhere, because there's no mixing and matching, no creativity to be had. And it's only June.
