>>  Have I mentioned lately how totally awesome Steven Meisel's work for Vogue Italia is?  The latest evidence, for the June 2006 issue, is this totally hilarious eighties'd-out editorial, "Non-Stop Ultimate Pumping," complete with super short shorts, lots of bright colors, and Gemma Ward in shiny spandex and big hair.  Totally reminds me of the "Call on Me" video.  Franca Sozzani sure knows how to have fun with a fashion magazine.

>>  When I saw this picture the other day on The Sartorialist, I absolutely fell in love with the shape of the girl's bag.  The leather has such a nice rich red tone, and I love the stiffness it adds to the bag's shape.  Worn with the navy blue frock coat, and with its buckles, the bag really reminds me of something Civil War-inspired.  I will definitely be scouring ebay for a roll handbag like this one.
