the daily de rigueur

Rachel Zoe's newest "pet" project, literally Lagerfeld's supposed diet secret, which goes a little too far for my taste Barney's Warehouse Sale on the horizon, nuff said Chris Benz's getting frosted by Lulu

she's still the one

>>  This has to be one of the best editorial photos I've seen in a while.  I love the washed-out bluishness of the whole canvas, punctuated by the warm colors of the beret, the hair, the tattoo, the table.  The pose of the bird and how Sasha leans on it to form a triangle frame within the photo is so striking, just beautiful.  P.S.

P.S. Suvi looks pretty darn good with white and blue hair, it lightens her harsh features.

speaking of furry coats

>>  Yeah, they've really been catching my eye.  Especially when they're from the minds and hands of Flora Gill and Alexa Adams, who together make up Ohne Titel.  Before establishing their label in 2006, Alexa worked at Helmut Lang, and both ladies worked for Karl Lagerfeld.  The minimalistic approach of both Lang and Lagerfeld is evident in the Ohne Titel fall collection, and I also see a hint of Chris Kane, what with the zips and mini-dresses.  Overall some great cuts, and I like that they combine sportswear materials like rip-stop nylon with luxury materials.  These girls are definitely on my ones-to-watch list, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what they produce for Spring, since fall was their first collection.

>>  Currently obsessing over this jacket.  Funny, since I didn't think the furry coat trend would hit me, it seems very faddish (see Turban, Prada).  I wish I could see this jacket in person - the fur can't look too fakey fakey or else it's a hopeless cause, but if it doesn't look too synthetic, this coat could totally be a great great piece.  Apparently I'm not alone in my obsession: the jacket is currently all sold out except in one size.  Hopefully Topshop restocks...
