>> Over Christmas Eve, Marc Jacobs and fiance Lorenzo Martone popped up on Saline Beach in St. Barts — with their requisite Louis Vuitton beach towels and Marc Jacobs swimwear, although Marc opted for a Hermes Birkin in place of a beach bag, accessorized with what appears to be a clear nicotine patch on his back. Before departing, Jacobs told Stylelist of the St. Barts holiday: "I plan to read, eat well, go to the gym, lie on the beach, swim, maybe jet ski and that's about it, really." Martone seems to be enjoying himself; he Tweeted: "in St Barths - the sun shines, the swimming sucks and the sex... ahn the sex.... :)."

Shopping: Zimmermann's Graphic Cutouts for Resort 2010

Since 2001, sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann have been producing sophisticated, feminine swimwear silhouettes under their Australian-based Zimmermann
label. The sisters' most recent resort lineup—which is full of sexy one-piece suits, bikinis and mini dresses with graphic cutouts—makes us wish we were writing this from a beach in Brazil. Nevertheless, we're pleased to peruse the swimwear collection online here and here
along with the duo's accessory and lingerie offerings while dreaming of well-dressed, sun-filled getaways.
>> Donatella Versace Has Bodyguards Assist Her in the Toilet —Anna Wintour has a set of bodyguards who hold up a flashlight on stairs for her so she doesn't trip in her heels, but Donatella Versace takes it one step further. Apparently, at Oi Fashion Rocks in Rio de Janeiro in late October, Donatella had bodyguards "holding her dress up for her in the porta-potties," reports Derek Blasberg. See the two gowns she wore to the event here. [V Magazine]

The collection has been getting a lot of editorial attention and, as WWD notes, the label was recently named second (to Alexander Wang) hottest international brand in a survey by Japanese fashion newspaper Senken-Shimbun. Paired with the recent successful launch of his lower-priced Capsule colletion, Tisci is on a roll at the house of Givenchy.

Thankfully, Lisa Marie Herdandez makes the perfect neoprene bikinis to match.

Uniqlo previewed the second +J collection from Jil Sander yesterday in Tokyo, and the 120-piece lineup will go on sale today across Japan and other Asian countries. Shopping: Resort Shorts That Travel Beyond the Beach

Shorts made an unseasonal, stylish comeback this winter, popping up everywhere on model-thin girls with thick tights and platform pumps. These new micro styles just in for resort could work during a relaxed beach vacation or a dressed-up evening in the city. Our current favorites are the leather shorts by Fendi and Thakoon and the metallic harem style by 3.1 Phillip Lim.
