>> For Fall 2009, Bally stuck with the same team as Spring 2009 — Mario Sorrenti photographing Christy Turlington and Oriol Elcacho, this time styled by Lori Goldstein in a darker, more sophisticated light — because as Creative Director Brian Atwood put it, "For me Christy is simply the perfect Bally woman; graceful, intelligent, and natural; she exudes a sophisticated ease; her sensual beauty is perfectly complimented by Oriol's strong and confident presence. Both Christy and Oriol are wonderful to work with; consummate professionals who allow the process to flow so seamlessly, it is difficult to call it work." If rumors are to be believed, he'll be sharing Christy with Yves Saint Laurent this season, because Stefano Pilati thought she was the consummate YSL woman.

London designer Osman Yousefzada is open to collaborations. If you recall, he designed a collection for Mango back in March and now he's collaborating with Browns. >> INSIDER WIRE —Jonathan Saunders is joining the increasingly longer list of designers — which already includes Burberry, Matthew Williamson, and Pringle of Scotland — coming back to London Fashion Week for Spring 2010 to celebrate its 25th anniversary. British Fashion Council president Harold Tillman hinted a couple of weeks ago that “there are talks going on with other big names who we’re confident will come back," so Saunders may not be the last to make a return announcement. This week marked the launch of Dolce & Gabbana's Fall 2009 ad campaign, in which models pose in the brand's hot pink furs, while a Miu Miu goat hair collar appeared in the new arrivals section of Net-a-Porter. See the trend from runway to retail floor, below.
