>> Erin Wasson to Show in Tents for Spring 2010 —It pays to be the longtime face of Maybelline: the cosmetics company just signed on to be Bryant Park's official cosmetic sponsor for two years and is taking Erin Wasson with them.  Erin, who for the past two seasons has done more informal presentations, said back in March that her Spring 2010 collection is inspired by her pit bull, Cream. >> Dolce & Gabbana to Be in Upcoming Madonna Video? —Madonna may be the face of Louis Vuitton, but it's Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana who will reportedly appear in her upcoming music video, "Celebrate."  Scenes were apparently shot during a dinner Dolce and Gabbana hosted for Madonna after her show Wednesday in Milan at their club-restaurant Gold, and more is expected to be shot Saturday at the designer's Metropole Theater, which they usually use for fashion shows and events. >> Still no clues about why Anna Wintour skipped couture in Paris last week, but now we know why Andre Leon Talley was spotted at a Whole Foods in Raleigh, North Carolina, neighboring on Durham, where he grew up, instead of watching the latest handsewn creations from Lacroix, Dior, and Chanel waltz by.  

Talley was noshing on "Southern ham and baked chicken," he writes, along with 200 other guests July 5 (the day before couture began) at a brunch hosted by Dr. Maya Angelou at her compound in Winston-Salem: "At the end of the afternoon, everyone listened to Dr. Angelou, seated at her writing table in her family room, as she shared her thoughts on the importance of sharing this kind of reunion, a celebration of 'Who we are.'"
