Derek Blasberg and Friends Kept it Mostly Classy at Barneys Book Launch

Lauren Santo Domingo, Derek Blasberg, Chloe Sevigny, and Simon Doonan In celebration of Derek Blasberg's first book, friends Lauren Santo Domingo (dressed in Vionnet), Chloe Sevigny (in Proenza Schouler), and Dasha Zhukova (in Prabal Gurung) feted the man-about-town to support his newly-released etiquette guide, "Classy: Exceptional Advice for the Extremely Modern Lady".

In celebration of Derek Blasberg's first book, friends Lauren Santo Domingo (dressed in Vionnet), Chloe Sevigny (in Proenza Schouler), and Dasha Zhukova (in Prabal Gurung) feted the man-about-town to support his newly-released etiquette guide, "Classy: Exceptional Advice for the Extremely Modern Lady".

Guests including Francisco Costa, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Terry Richardson, Chris Benz, Birdie Bell, Tamara Mellon, Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld, and Giovanna Battaglia sported illustrated "I'm a tramp" or "I'm a lady" buttons while Blasberg signed books in Barneys New York. Post event, Santo Domingo hosted an intimate dinner party in her apartment with Blasberg's parents (who flew in from St. Louis for the occasion) in attendance.

Interview's April 2010 iPad Issue Offers "Richer" Experience; Digital Version of Magazine Also in the Works

Malone demonstrated the Interview experience made "richer" through the iPad's capabilities this morning — for instance, the issue's Terry Richardson-shot Jersey Shore editorial with Bar Refaeli comes with video footage taken by Richardson's assistant throughout the shoot.  And the iPad allows for a higher production value than print, therefore causing photos to appear all the more vivid.

Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai of Vena Cava are launching a fall collection of lower-priced cotton basics. Called Viva Vena, the lineup will chart new territory in the crowded market of oversize, burnout tees with all-over hand-drawn print and photo collages.

Produced in Los Angeles, the collection will included tees, tanks, and dresses. Viva Vena will retail for under $200 and be available this July in Saks Fifth Avenue and Barneys New York and online at Shopbop and LaGarçonne.
