>> While there are still a few biggies that have yet to make their debut — Vogue Italia, V with Carine Roitfeld's touch, Pop, and Dasha Zhukova's new magazine, Garage — the majority of this year's September issues have already made their debut. There are more than a few model covers; in fact, there are more than a few supermodel covers — and we've gathered them all together for your perusal.

>> Natasha Royt styled Julia Restoin Roitfeld in a pared-down — albeit wind-blown — studio shoot for Hanii Y's Fall 2011 campaign. The six-look campaign is also accompanied by a behind-the-scenes video of Roitfeld vamping it up on-set for Dutch photographer Jan Welters. See all six looks here.

>> For Fall 2011, POP is having a Marina Abramović moment; the magazine tapped the performance artist to collaborate and appear on all three covers of the new issue — one of which also features model Freja Beha. "We'd been wanting to do a cover project with Marina for a while now," editorial director Ashley Heath explained. "The link-up with Freja seemed very right somehow. The dark hair/dark sexuality angle, and the fact they're both uncompromising and very choosy in what they do."

Shot in high-contrast black and white, each of the three Marina covers feature a different vignette — in one, the artist poses with a mini version of herself; in another, the mini-Marina looks solemly over Freja's shoulder. The third cover — a limited-edition hardback — features only Marina's upside-down face, in full mime-style makeup.

>> Take a little voyage through space and time with Alexis Bittar's fantastical Resort 2012 lookbook. "This season we decided to go towards a surrealist vision that evoked a combination of the sailing scenes from the movie Gilda and a bit of Fellini, with a little bit of 1980s thrown in for good measure," Bittar explains. Bald-headed models cavort with paper bears, slick-skinned mannequins lounge in outer space, and a sculptural collection of wood and neon jewelry keeps everyone looking totally glamorous all the while.

>> Here's the first glimpse of Dasha Zhukova's much-anticipated new magazine, Garage. Hitting newstands September 5th, the magazine's main editorial — as well as one of it's three covers —  was photographed by Hedi Slimane and features some provactively-placed tattoos. "The 'INKED' project is really emblematic of the mission of the magazine — bringing together individuals from diverse creative fields to produce something compelling and bold," Zhukova said of the magazine's inaugural theme. Jeff Koons, Richard Prince, Paul McCarthy, and Damien Hirst were all tapped to design tattoos for the issue; it's Hirst's version that graces the main cover, which ships with a peel-back modesty sticker in the shape of a butterfly (left).

The two alternative covers of Garage feature the work of prominent artists as well: one cover features a Nick Knight and Dinos Chapman image of a doll house with a Lily Donaldson doll playing inside, while the other cover features a tattoo design created by Richard Prince. Despite the alternative covers, W.H. Smith has already banned the magazine from sale at its stores in England. However, Barnes & Noble will stock the magazine.

>> The 2012 Pirelli calendar isn't set to be released until December 6th, but behind-the-scenes images from the shoot — featuring Kate Moss and Lara Stone — are already trickling in. The nature-themed calendar also features models Isabeli Fontana (left), Milla Jovovich, Margaret Madè, Saskia de Brauw, and Rinko Kikuchi — all posed in rustic settings at the remote Murtoli estate in Corsica.

Mario Sorrenti, Moss's ex-boyfriend — and the first Italian to ever shoot for Pirelli — photographed the calendar. The shoot took place just three weeks before the supermodel's July wedding to Jamie Hince. Hince was, reportedly, present on-set.

>> Accessories designer Wendy Nichol is launching handmade clothing to go with her two-year-old line of bags and jewelry. Featuring cropped blouses, long blazers, and silky shorts, the lingerie-inspired collection is meant to be mixed-and-matched; "It’s about layering," Nichol explains. Click through for a peek at some of the looks that populate the new line.

>> A century's worth of antique finds goes into each bracelet, necklace, and pair of earrings in Lisa Salzer's new 100 Year Collection for Lulu Frost. Inspired by Salzer's own collection of vintage jewels, this new batch of stunners was created with the same type of re-mix artistry that went into last April's 100 Year Necklace; each piece features no less than six vintage jewels, all originating from a different era between the years 1860 and 1960. Here's an up-close look at each of the new pieces, currently available in a special vintage sale at Moda Operandi.

>> Erin Wasson's collection for Zadig and Voltaire doesn't hit Net-a-Porter until next month, but here's a look at some of the items you'll find. Released to Who What Wear yesterday, these images reveal that the pieces are just as highly-covetable as we've been expecting — there's a sequined leopard jacket, a cropped leather vest with oversized buckles, and a very chic western-style shirt.
