Because he works so tirelessly, it would be natural to think of Karl Lagerfeld as someone who might indulge in a relaxing massage every now and then — but it would also be wrong.
Lagerfeld attended the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala in Cannes last week, where one of the lots auctioned off was a massage from supermodel Heidi Klum. But Lagerfeld said that it doesn't matter who's giving the massage — "nobody" is allowed to put their hands on him.
"I hate massage and I don't believe in massage. I hate to be touched," he said, adding that he also wouldn't give anyone a massage himself. "I'm not John Travolta."
But even if Lagerfeld did like a little shiatsu here and there, it's a good thing he didn't bid on Klum's massage session. The model admitted that she's not a good masseuse. "And my nails are really long, so it's going to hurt," Klum said.
